Churchill Downs plans on installing lights to make night racing a permanent fixture in Louisville. “We found our racing fans loved the experience, and Churchill Downs is trying new ideas to bring different types of fans to our iconic track” says Churchill’s President, Kevin Flanery.
As we spoke about below, it seems the new business model for some venues will be admission and gate-revenue based. The question I guess, is ‘who’s next?’.
